MATCH VS BORDERS VETS AT PEEBLES GC

Our East Vets annual match against Borders Division took place on Wednesday 9th September at Peebles Golf Club. The result was a win for Borders Vets by 4 to 2 on a very enjoyable day of friendly greensomes golf. After coffee and bacon rolls everyone made their way to the first tee. It was a dry day but there was a strong cold wind making it tough.There was some excellent golf played with some very close matches.The course was in excellent condition and the views impressive. The Borders team were just too strong and won four games to two.We were treated to a lovely meal followed by fantastic sweets.  Thanks to Janice the Borders Captain and her team for a very enjoyable day.
